My Personal Reflection
I am from the Flintstones family, Bamm Bamm Rubble. The Primers Orientation Camp is so far the best camp I have ever been to. The station games, which compromises of many different teambuilding games, were very fun and challenging. It has also bonded our group members together. I had a great time in ‘Toonsmission’ where we ran around SP to play games in order to obtain clues to solve the mystery. We all had really cracked our brains into finding who the murderer is. There were many more other events which my friends and I had enjoyed. Like the dance session, Toonsland and Toons-La-Night. Last but not least, we had a wonderful GL and AGL, Jun Kai and Li Ling. They were very caring and never fail to make us laugh. I believe that everybody who has gone for this camp had enjoyed it very much.

9:00 PM
At the beginning, I felt that going to the POC camp was nothing new, it would just be like those past few camps I went. However, at the end of the camp, l felt a totally different thing.
On day one, my friends and I were late due to late classes. Hence, we missed the icebreakers. By the time we reached there, the leaders were announcing the names of clusters and groups. After that, teambuilding games were carried out. At that time, there were small clicks in our group. The very first game was not quite successful due to poor communication. Next was supper, I don’t usually get supper in camps, this may be the first. Therefore, I somewhat felt that the camp was more like a vacation.
The next day, more games were up. This time, our group worked better as bond between one another got strong. As a result, we get to complete the tasks faster.
During lunch, I started to mix around with the others in the groups. We chatted about our course, cca and interests. After that, we had the ToonsMission where we got together to analysis a murder case. During this section, people started voicing out their thoughts and opinions. At dinner time, we were treated to an ice cream each. Later at night, we also got together to decorate one member to a cartoon character, and also plan a performance.
The last day was bad because we had to break camp. In addition, some group members had to leave early. Next, we went to an annual event organized by a church.
Overall, the camp was an enjoyable one. Through many games and incidents, for example the ‘bombing’ game, I learnt that as primers, we must share, care and wait for one another. We do not ‘boo’ each other just because we won, instead we should cheer one another on.
This camp is the first camp that was different. Furthermore, our group leaders, Jun Kai and Li Ling were very caring. They took good care of also through out the whole camp. Witnessing their attitude and actions, it motivated me to join the primers family and to also be a GL like them.
